HR and management are out in full force to attempt to show the prevailing attitude is against WFH. It's not. (except those that feel slighted because they need to be physically at work to do their jobs) Beware of the manipulation!

If you're a fellow posting about AI replacing our jobs you don't know much about AI.
Maybe coming in covers it up for you.
I wish my company would have never implemented WFH. Zoom meetings are not as "handy" as some say.
I was involved with "lab efficiency" at Intel. I had to spend hours, if not days, to quantize the usage of our 800 sq. ft. lab. I could have given a very close estimate in 5 minutes.
They were even going to fly everybody from the US to China to have a "lab efficiency" meeting. Talk about inefficiency! Intelligence prevailed and it was cancelled.
Intel has it priorities upside down. Knuckleheads rule and promote the most BS ideas.
Folks who have to be onsite do not want RTO either. We will lose good parking and short cafe lines.
In parallel they’re working hard to “optimize” work/lab space and headcount who always work onsite. Looks like paranoia? Nope, just another plan in action to make people leave without severance package. To the most “lucky” and patient survivors they will pay the minimal package from the money they deducted from your wage, bonuses and rewards.
Speaking of HR, where’s CP?
