Levis has been cutting several departments, the latest is the Wholesale part of the company. Kept employees on until June then a severance kick s in, medical was offered. This cut came out of the blue :-( How many more layoffs are coming? Kept quiet, all to keep Chips legacy. So much for core values

Oh yeah, they’ve been laying off left and right (I was one) with no announcements—trying to pretend they aren’t struggling… and to your point, I don’t think Chip wants to add yet another large layoff to hi “legacy”.
