It really sucked having to get dressed and get to work by 11:30 am today. It was so much easier to stay on mute and keep the camera off.

You are not entitled to work from wherever you want. Show up to your office, work a minimum of 8 hours and then go home. 5 days a week.
You are in for a very rude awakening when SHTF and probably wont survive it.

Oops, didn't finish writing. In the Bay Area's toxic teams, people who climb fast with inflated titles and high pays don't need to go to office so many days a week. They mainly delegate their work to others, attending meetings can be done online. May go to office a few hours once a while after booking meetings with higher ups to backstab others.
All employees with assigned office and not coming back to office will be laid off. Did you get that? Anyone in management supporting wfh will be fired.
@ybv+1mqTVKLl Are you in the Bay Area site? Bay area has the highest pay. Some department's culture has always been terrible. Some people are always busy working while some others climb fast by delegating to others, pushing responsibilities to others and backstabbing.

It's very site specific. A lot of sites are MWE so it's business at usual. A lot of management don't want to do the 4 day thing either and they know that will make it more difficult to retain staff.
Qualcomm is asking everyone to return to office or only certain sites?
