Usually it's one week later. My guess is it gives them time to revoke network access to those that are being laid off. Can you imagine the great Slido questions if they were allowed to attend :)

this is nonsense. there will be no layoffs this year. lots of great products in the pipeline. the future is very much bright.
Another 320 being asked to volunteer with the score lowering down to 75 to be eligible. Followed by 830 more pushed out the door before summer.

don't worry folks - XR/VR and metaverse are the major trends that will save Qualcomm from being completely commoditized. In my view CA and his executive team either drinking their own cool-aid hoping for metaverse to pull the company out of the gutter or they keep telling this story as long as it's helping them line up their pockets with millions of dollars in compensation and bonuses. Something tells me that it's the latter...
Nobody is indisposable. If we quit, somebody will take on and continue. This applies to everybody from ceo to engineer to turing award winners, in large companies. Best thing we can do is build up skills and make ourselves marketable or start something of our own

I think this is confirmation that there will be layoffs. Usually, the All-Hands is scheduled within 10 days of the quarterly earnings call. I think we should all be asking tough questions on Slido about the state of the company and the future
