I always had working managers but this place seems to be full of useless micromanaging middle managers who are best friends with their manager. WTF!

Managers at WD are inept, clueless, void of technical skills, lacking people skills, do not know how to project plan, do not know how to search for a resource on company intranet portal, hire their friends and family, they have favorites (brown noses), they build technical teams that are more inept then themselves for job security, they play the tribal knowledge game and silo information due to inadequacy, etc...
After HGST was bought out by WD, the Asian dynasty was swapped out for the Indian dynasty. Only at WD can you have a 13 level deep management all of the same race. Obviously no bias here.
SANDISK, WD AND HGST ARR THE TRIBES. JK RUNS THE HGST CLIQUE.
LETS NOT FIRGET THE ALMIGHTY, EXPENSIVE AND USELESS CISCO TRIBE.
There are a few tribes at WD. If you work in one you best not question this as some of these are far wider than you might think.
