why you are overselling yourself to the company, why not leave before they ask you to or make you go ?
nowadays one should leave when the first hint is received that they are not needed.

What's there to worry about? Leave Amazon, work elsewhere. Duh. It's not like you won't be the first person to do that. Lots of places to work - Adobe, NVidia, McDonalds, Walmart, and a million other remote jobs.
