GE don’t care about positive change neither does GE care about morale. Ge don’t care about you or your T rate vrs D rate at all they care about the bottom penny. They will not close the gap because they are doing everything they can to offset their inconsiderate business practices for the new company.
GE knows they lowered the standards and pay for a reason. They have a trend of hiring people who made $10-$15 an hour with no skills or very little. This does not say much for the future of Schenectady in my opinion.
Just look at the latest newest methods and the ramping up of the production floor in Schenectady. It is a project/test to see what plant is more cost efficient. On labor versus output material waste morale and skill set. Why do you think the power issued and directed the amount of workload to us here in Schenectady?
I see things not working out I see once Verona takes over and reviews the production and the books. Verona will be doing multiple small to mid size layoffs after the demand will decreases here. So the T’s need to stop complaining while you still have a job to do and enjoy the now.
