Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Pathetic company.

Pathetic company. Enough said! Better and more meaningful opportunities else where.

Too much backstabbing taking place without recourse.

I’m sorry if I’m the one who has to break this to you. Everyone I’ve encountered is C level talent. Not because everyone is not able to be A level talent. Because most of the organization doesn’t appreciate A level talent, everyone becomes C level to match the leadership talent. I’m just saying.

Well there is are always going to be someone trying to discredit you because they don't want to hear the truth. There is a lot of drama and nonsense that has been ingrained in the culture. I am just beating myself up for not standing up for myself more from the bulling. My advise is to leave to a company that you can grow and be more valued. I work in Houston and the talent is C-Level from two reasons: 1. Toxic/narcissistic leadership and employees 2. Low moral/ I don't care or I can do what I want without consequences attitudes.

It use to be a better place that you can see yourself growing. However, it has been going down hill in the last 7 years. They have some talented people that are often overlooked or pushed to the sidelines. Having A-B level talent is not relevant and is actually frowned at if you try to go above and beyond. What is acceptable is bare minimum effort within your role and kiss a**.

Thanks for all of the negative feedback. You just made his/ her point. Everyone has a right to express their experience. Thier experience made them conclude that it is a pathetic company. I do think there are a lot of hurdles the organization needs to go through. One is to stop bullying in the workplace! US offices s**k. Canada not so much.

If it is so toxic, do yourself a favor and find a new job. I'm sure you'll do everyone working with you a favor asl well.

This is the most toxic office I have worked at! Look at these aggressive remarks people are leaving. Enbridge is a hit or miss. Some departments are great to work in and some are plain toxic.

You have free will to go anywhere with your C-Level talents but moaning/whining seems easier.
