Employees impacted by round 2 of Finance layoffs will receive notice Thur or Fri of this week. Round three coming later as more jobs offloaded to India and/or hubs in Mesa and St Louis.

Boeing has taken their executive mandate to "do more with less" to its final and ultimate conclusion...goodbye...
Boeing would love to have a complete section of the airplane with complete systems already installed where all they have to do is join the major sections together and stamp the Boeing name on it and call it an American product.
The truth is most of these suppliers have now exceeded Boeings expertise in aircraft manufacturing, because Boeing no longer does anything but major assembly.
How long can a company offload US employees to other countries and sell products for less than it costs to make them and still be considered a US company and stay in business? Me thinks it's time for US government to invest in several other real US companies that have the right stuff to better serve US interests.
There are issues with transitioning this work so a good number of people will have their jobs a bit longer. So use this time to network and job hunt as these cuts will happen. Good Luck.
