Many VPs at WD are doing their job all over the place and wasting company resources with awful decisions. At the end, the working bees get laid off and pay for the bad directions from the leadership teams. Then they turn over that page, get new RSU refresher and continue the death spiral. This becomes the WD way. Especially for the VPs in business units, they should be contract based with tangible goals. Get them all fired and there are tons of better VP and leaders put there.

This is The Way.
Both good and bad VPs do what ELT tell them to do, otherwise they're out.
Hard to blame them for WDs unwavering focus on ELT bonuses and DI while they cut workers.
This all starts at the top. Get rid of the CEO and everyone he brought with him. We are now seeing very good front line people being shown the door (this week). Then you can go after VPs and GMs.
Very little hope for that when the failure starts from the top
exit the GM too, it starts with them
