Acquaintance recruiting me to go to Tesla saying I can get a discount on cars. I couldn’t tell if they were joking or true. Is there discount given to employees?

Go test drive a Ford, GM, or Stellantis. You will be amazed at how bad these companies quality is compared to Tesla. Believe me, I used to work for them, I used to owned them before and never again. The Big 3 have been making cars for the last 100 years, they still don't know how to make a good quality car.
Tesla only been making cars since 2012, they are 10 years ahead of the Big 3. The big 3 have been trying to benchmark Tesla for years, they still can't figure it out yet.
Don't, their cars are of poor quality. Come work for one of their competitors instead. We pay more too.
If you work at the Gigafactory... I suggest that you visit the answer bar (At least I think it's called the answer bar?... it's on the 2nd floor in the cafeteria). Sometimes getting information is a wild goose chase and you have to ask the same question a few times to get a full and correct answer. I think you could start there or maybe ask that question to your rep.
To my knowledge, the sole discount available is the complimentary FSD package for employees, which is valid until their employment ends. Aside from this perk, the regular pricing applies to everyone.
What kind of discount range could one see?
This is true of virtually every car manufacturer.
