I’m hearing May 2nd, anyone else hearing rumors for the first week of May?
The RIF didn't occur in the end of April as the original rumor.
I'd assume it would land on either Mon, Wed or Thu.

HR has been up a couple weeks back. Don't know what position you applied for, but you may want to reconsider. There's a layoff coming, and possible merger. Unless you are sure WD is what you want, just look somewhere else.
Has WD been without email since the breech!? (I applied for a job a few weeks ago so I'm curious)
I remember past layoffs used to occur on Wednesday.

Someone told me it's going to be the 1st week of May.
Email is back up for many as is most of the systems. It is coming soon.
How to notify without email?

Transparency is one of the core values of Agile. I wish management team really abide by it.
We know it has to be done by end of June, and very unlikely they would wait until the last week. There are still issues from the cyber attack need to be resolved, so I would say end of May.
I don't know this came from a reliable source or not, but we do have communication tools been established. So I kinda trust this 'rumor'.
