If you didn't see this coming, it's your own fault. These layoffs were inevitable and written on the wall for weeks, if not months. I truly hope everybody saw this and is prepared because the job market in our industry is currently getting worse day by day. You still have some time to get on it if you haven't already.

Actually it IS their fault. You people think you just show up, get a check and have no impact? The lack of accountability by the peons is ridiculous. Granted, the tone is set from the top but if you hung around for the Cush hours and big check then yes you bear some responsibility.
I was "laid off" from FRB late last year, but now I see it was a blessing in disguise with how FRB panned out. I hope all my former friends and colleagues are preparing and updating their resumes. It's a shame people will lose their careers due to this situation. This isn't their fault.
