My thoughts exactly. It seems all but done now. Vale gets to blame mike and A3M and will probably spin the place off into 3 or 4 pieces. Monish must have been promised the HC company if he "successfully" shrank 3M by 15000 jobs. He's over half way there.
I really hope that Monish doesn't go anywhere but out of the two companies. This mess is so bad that they shouldn't put one of the key reasons for company failure in charge of what is likely the only part that could survive this catastrophe.
After the clusterfu-k that happened today, I'm seriously wondering why Roman still has a job. The man clearly isn't up for it.
To quote a movie:
"You know, in certain older civilized cultures, when men failed as entirely as you have, they would throw themselves on their swords."
At least we pretty clearly know who the likely key successors are:
Remainco - Mike V.
Spinco - Monish P.

Trust the process really caught him on the wrong foot…that was funny and at the same time sad to see
Trust the process is what we were told when he launched A3M…and 3 years later he is still guessing what to do
