Isn't it better to look for a better paying job somewhere else than to hope in vain that you will be paid a little better here?

I retired there in 2020, but there was a rumor that Jeff Bezos saw the money to be made in lumber sales and pro customers. It was rumored that he wanted to buy Lowe's and get rid of most stuff except lumber and the rest of the store would be mini distribution centers for Amazon.
Really sounds like not too bad of an idea. Pretty much anything that Amazon has you could just get from that store location and Pros could pickup stuff not possible to ship.
“ Brick and mortar stores are on the way out”….. not really.Always gonna have to have grocery stores Always gonna have to have lumber/ building materials .Always have to have hardware/ paint/ electrical supplies( though all the wire’s under lock and key at our Lowe’s.
Look, my point is there’s some stuff you can’t get from Amazon today ( not next week, not tomorrow…. TODAY!). I’m not psychic….. I can’t predict the future. But there will always be a need for Lowe’s/ Wal Mart / Depot ..The thing is….. Lowe’s seems he-l bent on gouging anyone and everyone in the name of share price. It will bite them in the buttocks.
Keep Tide on dem shelf.
Look folks. Lowe's wont do anything else for you. Marvin is trying to save his a-s. Investors are expecting Covid numbers. If you like it, then stay. If not get out while you can. Brick and mortar stores are on the way out.....at least on the short term.
Depends. There are vast differences in what people are paid at most Lowes stores.example , There are cashiers starting at $16 an hour. That’s good pay. Low pay is an existing cashier doing the same role at $12. Of course, the solution is to quit and work elsewhere because Lowes won’t correct these disparities.
Unless you are a a$$ kisser best look elsewhere, but Lowe's boat is sinking so best get out while you can.
