This is just my opinion, I do not think we are done. I think that with the recent reorg, managers will be evaluating their teams and making minor adjustments which could include "synergies" code word for layoffs.

Coming from another company with constant layoffs, these small reductions do not need to get reported to the states in terms of WARN notices.

Wow, I am sorry to hear of your experience. My experience is completely different. My direct manager and peer group are wonderful. Go find happiness and if that means you need to leave, do so for your own sanity.

I heard some of it is layoffs, and some of it is firing due to politics.
Middle management has and will continue to destroy what little culture was left when I left. The nepotism and favorites game being part of that.
Anyone who plays the role of the subservient rockstar employee who doesn’t question the ethics of management, and pretends to or is actually okay with subtle racist/s-xist/oppressive views and commentary in meetings will continue to thrive there until that company sells / meets it’s end because eventually that dysfunctional machine will become a non-functioning smoke machine.

Those who have been laid off: It gets better, trust me. You deserve better than what you have endured. The longer you’ve been in, the more you’ll see as time comes to pass just how toxic and stunting that place is.

To address a question posted below, I heard that some impacted managers were offered IC roles. I hope that is true, and thank you to the company for doing that.

You are right, it is a culture of fear! It is going to do more harm in lost focus with these little cuts. I also hate to see these cuts when I see openings on the org chart. Were these people even considered for open positions?

Welcome to a culture of fear. Really sucks.

I have been with companies who have had layoffs before, this seems like the worst to me: small haircuts vs ripping the band aide off. People are let go in such small numbers that I think it honestly makes a person more nervous. What are their plans? Do they have plans? What are they making decisions based on a far as who is being cut?

More layoffs yesterday. I wonder if more are to come? I'm getting out of here on my own terms if I can.

This company is going nowhere. Incompetent leadership and sub par offerings, got out while you can
