Quit complaining about low pay. Wet dog noses, wagging tails, and pats on the head should be ample compensation for you. Sure, those don't pay the bills, but they make you feel good deep down inside. Those intrinsic factors alone should be all the motivation necessary to get to work. Paychecks are secondary. Now put on that smile and get in there and get the job done!
Lowes is on a downward trajectory. Just have to see if having poor management, disengaged new hires, messy stores, lack of help will catch up with them. Customer’s complain about lack of assistance, number one complaint.
Lowes mgmt specializes in gaslighting. Just lie to our faces. Well just gaslight back to them.

Same old story at Lowes. I remember when I worked there the old saying was you need more sales in your Dept. to get more help which makes no sense. More staff in the store makes more sales, pretty basic business model.
We are in a recession. Lowe's won't pay decent salary. The bonus breadcrumbs are a joke. Lowe's is laying off IT and finance folks at corporate level. Self Checkout is taking the place of cashiers and cutting on payroll. If a store misses sales plan, payroll has to be cut immediately. SIMS will also help cut payroll. Bad stuff is coming. Mark my words. Lovely. Maybe they can cut cost by eliminating Marvin's podcasts or The Lowe Down.

As usual, I am covering 4 departments on a Saturday. No lunch break today and the customers are being way rude and impatient. So much for hiring anyone. Most of the last two batches of new hires quit anyway. You can't retain help if Lowe's won't pay them.

Don't expect a "working together" bonus or any kind of specialist bonus with the way sales are right now. Definitely not a good time to be working at Lowe's or any home improvement retailer...
Lowes made out like a bandit with Covid it’s all cutting hrs with jobs in the next few weeks .
There is NO Way my store is going to match 2021 and 2022's COVID numbers.
Latest, they spent beaucoup $'s remodeling the Training Room, Break Room and other back end offices, while cutting hours.
