Don’t be fooled. No one was forced out. Family members are leaving before the company is sold.

I’m not surprised about JS being out. Once LK was out it was only a matter of time. He wasn’t protected anymore as soon as she left.
I heard about a decent amount of reshuffling, but haven't heard of anyone getting the axe. My spy network isn't what it used to be, however

You guys must be new to this. VP's get let go at the end of FY (July) and the layoffs for the rest come in August.
Giant Eagle won’t lay anyone off who holds a high paying position. The only employees who will get laid off are the office workers who have minimal salaries.

Not true. Highers ups are being targeted. It's already been determined that there are too many VP's and they need to go. IT for one is way over bloated and will be getting slashed soon.
Will lower people be let go of course, but there is a definatr target on executives. Rumor has it Kirk, Janice, Damien are all on borrowed time....but you can't just move them all at once. They all can follow Rob G to the next place he wants to rip off and push jobs to india. Cya a-hole.
Well it seems like the higher ups are safe and getting promotions, while the lower paid corporate team members are being laid off.
Anything they can do to lower their overhead so they can lower their prices will be a huge positive for them.
