During a December 2017 interview I asked if Facebook would be as energetic about laying off people “when the music stopped” as they were about hiring at such a fast rate. The finance guy liked the question, but the managers and execs did not. They seemed intoxicated with the growth and couldn’t foresee a future business decline. Thankfully, I did not go to work there. I now see some of those interviewers posting on LinkedIn they’ve been terminated. Can’t say I didn’t ask you about it.

Well said. 7 x 300K = 2.1 mil..
300k is quite entry level TC at Meta. Or is that after tax?
Oh, and you don't expect salary raises over 7 years?
If you were hired in 2017, you already milked 7 yrs and should be millionaires by now.
