If you are not burned out, you are one of the losers taking selfies all day, attending WIT or Revel in Tech, and doing anything else to avoid doing work. You are the reason others are burned out.

Bunch of whiners talking about burnout. Joined NM during COVID and love WLB here. These complainers need to find a job outside and compare what they have at NM - oh wait. They won’t get a job outside.

there wasn't one. standard 'talk to your manager,' 'use your pto,' etc. the burning question of 'is a hotdog a sandwich' got more airtime.

Having joined the company recently, I find the burnout question surprising. Northwestern Mutual has one of the more balanced atmospheres I’ve ever been at. Some of the other places I’ve worked at were no joke when it came to hours and workload.
