2 months + a week for each year of service
Is this current salary i.e 2 months of current salary + a week of current salary for each year of service ?
OR is it
2 months of current salary + a week of salary in that year
Yes there is a cap. Check the severance policy on source
Is there a cap on the "1 week per year of service"?
It’s 2 months to satisfy warn act if you are notified before 2pm universal time and 4 months after 2pm.
Then 4 months per year served if you focused on the main thing, 3 years/month is you only sort of focused on the main thing and 2/weeks a year if you picked your belly button lint out instead of focusing on the main thing.
All that depends of course if you live 50 miles or less from a VMware office. If you are more than 50 miles away, you get nothing but a fake gold watch sent to you from China via a container ship that will take one year to reach its destination.
All that said, there is a 50/50 change of the policy being correct.
You’ve asked this question 3 times despite 2 valid responses to the severance. If you don’t trust, why keep posting? Do you want someone else to agree with your wishlist? Troll
I thought it’s 2 months on payroll with benefits then 2 months without benefits plus 1 week per year of service. In the US so I heard.
Only 2 months to satisfy warn act period + 1 week per year completed (year rounded down)
Just months ? Or is it 2 months on payroll and then 2 months severance more?
2 months + a week for each year of service. It's in our severance policy.
Can anyone share the severance package ?
I am from engg side so looking how much severance i get when laidoff in 3-6 months. I believe severance is same for HR & Engg functions
Based on LinkedIn I'd say that's accurate
