I wonder how some people ever got to be in a managerial position…….. How many good managers are left here anyway? I would say very little.

See, told you there was a lot of ignorance going around. The previous post is a sterling example.
The elite managers lead by st. doug are bringing walmart to a new dawn. They are a team connected to st. doug by their very own umbilical cord. As Rome was falling they were bidding to be emperor. Layoffs and AI coming to a store near you. If you can't see the writting on the wall your paid not too. By By Bentonville st. doug will replace you with AI. Do I hear a popping noise ? People are beginning to remove their heads from that hole in the ground.
That’s totally untrue.
We had a coach that was so mean and degrading. A lot of people contacted the ethics hotline on her. She has now been promoted to store manger. So it seems as the worst the manger is the more they get rewarded/praised. Yay Walmart.
As a Coach, I think it is hilarious that they are starting Mental Health training ... how about fixing the reasons why we all need mental help. Market teams are typically horrible and lack real-world experience - nepotism. As a coach you try to hold associates accountable and do the right things - and there go the false ethics cases. If you talk to all the Coaches and Team leads, we are all on anxiety meds or in therapy to deal with disrespectful associates and lack of support from upper leadership / corporate.
Seems the worse the manger is the more they get praised and promoted.
How d-mb can you be? Apparently, pretty d-mb. Super d-mb, I mean, incredibly, bodaciously and completely d-mb.
Agree 1000000000%
Ridiculous how some managers bark orders at associates and treat them like trash. I’ve seen it time and time again.
Terrible management is right. No people skills, no clue how to run a store, some managers don’t hold people accountable.
