Confirmed. I was the employee with MCS. I signed an NDA.

From HR: What’s that smell?
Here at Southwest Energy Perfume we are banning perfumes, cologne and deodorants effective immediately. This is no laughing matter for people who suffer from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). Those with MCS can have nasty allergic reactions to strong perfumes and colognes.
SWN found out the hard way when it was sued for failing to accommodate an employee’s perfume allergy and was laid off. The worker won $75,000. The problem is: How do you actually enforce a scent ban? Is there a sniff test?
The only smells still permitted are, of course, Mr. Ways normal recurring fl-tulence. No change there.
