It seems to me that our leadership neither want to think much about their bad moves with negative consequences for the company nor want to change things that aren't working out. That's why they go from one mistake to another. Why is it harder for them to admit a mistake and learn something from it than to watch this company sink?

Great company, they are milking the life out of the company until it is gone. I watched slide down hill for a long time. I watched many dedicated hard working employees be laid off to support high executive pay.
Why are you posting here when DST went out of business years ago and is now SS&C. You do realize we have a SS&C page
Pride comes before a companies fall. Dst was blind to competition in other large financial hubs around the world. Dst was managed by local guys, with local educations. I saw the writing on the wall about the future decline. We had really bad management since about 1984
It's a loser company in low margin segments. SSNC bought with the intent to milk DST products till end of life with minimal support and enhancement until the last equally loser customers either die or are forced to leave. Mutual fund accounting, 401k record keeping, and medical claim systems are commodities no one wants to pay for.
They have always played the blame game. From the top down for years, they have looked to blame someone under them. The $u-k and have for years. Again it is a $hit Hole to work at. Do as little as possible why you are there because they will eventually throw you out the door like everyone else.
Its all about management's pride. And never admitting they can even make a mistake. But then blaming all the rank & file staff for each and every failure - big or tiny. A waste of time if you work here.
