ISP packages to be released any day now for Equipment Maintainers, Customer Service Technician 1, Equipment Installers and SSP Technicians. Rough estimates calling between 30-40 ISP packages to be offered. If not all ISP packages are taken look for the company to move lowest seniority CO technicians to locations where needed.
Prediction, not very many technicians will take the offering, as interest rates are high right now for retirement. Look for a good and notable technician force realignment coming.

100k to leave. Yeah right. We will be lucky for an $1100 per service year isp.
My understanding is that only CWA union members were offered an isp. Are they going to offer it to IBEW union members next? And if so, when?

Not holding my breath.
CA has a no layoff clause...
That layoff clause in no way means they can not offers isps, then force realign to areas where they get takers for those isps. If they offer me an isp. I’m out. Have seen what union agreed to for “area” for forced realignment? In a nutshell. It’s anywhere in California. Good luck low seniority guys.
Joe Schmuck lives!
I’d leave this dysfunctional mess for $0 if they gave me a couple points on my retirement.
Very interesting times in California, who’s going, who’s staying and who’s getting forced realigned to Cresent City??? All those 2009 Frame Worker Hires that got converted to Tech 1’s, WOW!!!!!!!

Have you seen it in writing or the union rep just told you

If they want employees to take the ISP, they need to offer at least 100k. Otherwise they won’t get many taker
No takers. Then layoffs. The seniority boys will just kick back and laugh at the guys going out, like they laugh every holiday when they're off.
Take it barback! oh............the pain
Take the big 8! Castro is close to you CWA bozos! FYBR is a sham since SPINCO. Everyone who is left knows about it. Alien NOC pu-e know about it too.
Take it before the offer is removed and you're forced out anyway.
