Get themselves into debts that they do not need just to satisfy some fake social status, but once they hear a whip, they will comply with anything to keep the theatre going.

I've been working on my "Go fck yourself" account for many years and executed on it. Health improved and never been better!
Your description sounds more like "working to live" than "living to work"....and I fully support working to live; I don't support getting into debt or trying to conform to social status, but I do think you should be looking at your job as a way to fund the nice things that you enjoy in your life.
