Basically, those of us who remain will be expected to pick up after those who will be gone. For the same pay. Fun.

Gainwell has been laying off but it's being done underground. One day your coworkers are there and a week later they are gone.
As one said, "Just do quiet quitting. Relax and collect the severance. Funemployment."
It's the best you can do. As much as they can, they will try to squeeze out of us. Either with a carrot of a few dollars or with a stick of layoffs. Take just what you are able to deliver within eight hours of work. Postpone the rest until tomorrow. Companies are not families and loyalty doesn't pay. We go to work, earn money, and bring it home. All we have to do is that. The body shoppers, if allowed, may ask the people to pay them since they are providing a service. Thankfully, we do not live in such a world yet. Corporations like these are greedy as he-l.

More layoffs can be announced following Deloitte discussion. Be careful the management wants to go pre Covid levels. They have hired more expecting more work but some clients are clogging back to save money.
I'm starting to wish I'm laid off.
