They should flush Monish out of 3M. He is serial verbal harraser, and uses intimidation. This alone should have the board take action.
Monish is really have no idea what 3M is/was and no capability to understand what is business transformation. Just focusing his own stock prices for pension plan. Such a shame he collapsed the "3M Family". No inventions anymore, no jobs, just more work, less pass for leftovers. No future! Thanks to Mike as well for not being there. And final; Mark Murphey; no idea who found him! Well done, you messed up with our ERP transition for 10 years.

The board is spineless......err .. the board has been spineless for a while now.
In all probability, they will hand him the CEO position for the spin co. Or else hand him a nice lofty golden parachute once he decides to leave the ship,that has been afloat for more than a century, that he sunk along with his mate Mikey.
Fire him for cause (billions lost in market capitalization, sheer neglect to the thousands of once devoted, once proud 3m’ers, and an utterly poor job performance )

Off topic but in the bean counter Jimmy Mac period he brought in the CFO from GM. Some suspected they were preparing to cook the books but then thankfully Enron came to light. Jimmy quickly announced ‘steady as she goes’ with 3M accounting. Hahahaha! Who knows what will happen with this Welch protege, he seems to be running the show.
