Let me see if I get this straight. After everything that has happened, after all the times we were gaslit by the management, you are saying you believe a word they're saying? Seriously?
I feel that if they did a RIF soon, then it would be a media nightmare. To blatantly lie to thousands of employees would destroy the company from within.
Is all a game of words.
"in force" is the part that gets me. There will be more reductions, just probably at a smaller scale than before
