I thought this was supposed to be a form of really good information but it has become a form of complaining and negative attitude and just condemning. I’ve been here over 30 years I get all the feels and what people are saying, but let’s make this an informative site and not a place to vent please please and no I’m not HR and I’d love to get laid off myself, but listening to all this negative stuff is discouraging to even the most positive person.

I like the break I get here, from the toxic positivity that we are forced endure and display in C&S.
Actually this site when having one of those days, brings a smile to one’s face. Like improved mental health. So why stay at Optum. Because like many others waiting for the Big Layoff guy to finally ping for that meeting. There should be a saying at one’s computer. Hang in there your time will come.

The name of the site is "Thelayoff.com". I only come here to hear about upcoming layoffs which is its purpose. I agree, most only come here to complain. I'm sure there is another site for you to complain and vent about how bad you think the company is, but some of us don't want to hear it on this site.

I’d much rather listen to complaints about real issues than the faux positivity nonsense that you and others keep peddling, while robbing people of their livelihood.
You have been at Optum for 30yrs? You must be an EVP or a slug! Whichever, this company has horrible churn rate and people are tired of being treated like disposable objects!
If the “southern coach” and or whoever behind the AI would stop using this forum to stir up the negativity - this forum would be back to its “normalcy”.
BTW, it will never be “informative” if staff felt betrayed and belittled in this forum to “justify “ the RIFs.
I would say your post falls in the judging category. Easy to do when sitting in a privileged position.
