Another one bites the dust.
He said it’s not because of BC but we all know…

Want to let you guys know that Dan is alive and well. Currently watching him on the all hands. 🤣
I could maybe see having such calls and sentiments when somebody like Carl left, or maybe if a real powerhouse like Duncan E, Frank D, or William L announced their departure. But this just seems odd...
I went to one where they all went around the room and said 1-2 things that we would miss about him... Weird AF.
Yep. Wait a year and let’s see how many folks who “will miss him” have stayed in touch.
This is an “I’ll be gone, you’ll be gone” situation.
Yes, I was referring to the VP+ airheads who have been hosting "urgent" meetings over his departure. I kid you not, I went to one where they all went around the room and said 1-2 things that we would miss about him... Weird AF.
Zugelder is available 'til June 23rd to answer any Dynatrace competitive questions you may have. Squeezed like a pi-ple and needed to make the move prior to a now delayed pay day. What a chump
This breaks my heart! The thought of no more Z-mails is kick in the groin…
"So sick of these vp+ airheads thinking we care about people leaving. They're so out of touch with reality."
I dont think its the VPs posting here.... Its regular VMW employees pointing out the craziness that is the mgmt saying "we are on track to close in BCs fiscal year" While at the same time senior people are bailing, when they know if it closes they are in line for a bucket of money (as discussed in other threads, a year salary, a year of healthcare, plus all their RSUs vesting and being paid out (and at today's BC price it is a HUGE bump in payout.
If the mgmt (including the CFO and these SVPs/GMs REALLY believed this is 100% going to happen why are so many bailing out now?
Its like flight staff grabbing the 12 year old emergency parachutes from a box and jumping out of a plane while telling the passengers (us) that you believe it is about to land safely in 10 minutes. It makes no sense.
Managers will be replaced with AI - we will just submit our performance reviews through chatgpt.
@1bxf+1mYIE0nz 100% on point.
You can fit all of the existing Broadcom Software VP/GMs in a single elevator. There's a video of TK opening the bell at Nasdaq with all of the GMs... the other 2/3 of the folks in frame are filler lest it look too sparse.
It’s NEVER because of BC!
NEVER I tell you!
Now go focus on the main thing team!
FOCUS! I said focus damn it.
How will Hock Tan survive!?! Oh yea, all these vp/GMs aren’t needed in the new world order. Better to get going sooner rather than later. Even a guy with as conservative a career as him can read the room.
Off to SFDC?
So sick of these vp+ airheads thinking we care about people leaving. They're so out of touch with reality.
Just left a call and you would have thought the guy died. Jesus Christ. We didn't need an emergency call over him leaving, lmao.
So Zane goes and now an SVP and GM... and of course the acquisition is going smoothly...
So odd. Though I would guess most of these senior folks started making plans last fall, and expected this to be done by now or fairly soon. Now that it is dragging months and months (with another 4 or 5 months expected) their "new plans" that include a new company dont want to wait another quarter or two for them...
I know mine doesn't.
I laughed out loud when I read that part. Does he expect has to truly believe that? 🤣
