DirecTV does NOT care about their employees. Don't buy into the propaganda of the all hands meetings. They will surplus you after more than decades of loyalty. I've known people that have been laid off after 20 years or even on maternity leave!!! That speaks volumes to the type of company this has become over the years.
This is an archaic company that needs to cease to be in existence. Legacy AT&T employees now rule the company and will leave once they do what the came to do.
Look at the profile of the executives and see if you see a common theme. It's like clones rule the company.
Sad that I check this site periodically to find out what is really happening with the company. I'm unmotivated, looking for a new job, and waiting to see what will happen.
Also DirecTV legacy old-timers are hiding out and counting the days until retirement or a layoff package is offered.
