Heard rumblings that a bunch of people in talent acquisition were quietly layed off this past week. Anyone else hearing this?

More WOKE FailS.
The talent acquisition people seem to care more about diversity, equity, and inclusion than actually hiring people that are the right fit and highly qualified for the position.
Talent acquisition is a complete joke.
Who cares about talent acquisition. They can't hire worth a darn. They bring in the worst people to positions who ultimately quit. The people who hire a lot of the talent acquisition associates should be fired. How about they trim up HR a bit more at the corporate level. How about trimming people like Hank(Wa-k) Jones who are as arrogant as they can be? Having to listen to his stupid jokes every week is too much.
Lowe's hasn't acquired any talent, so this checks out.
That makes sense because the economy is contracting and companies across all are resorting to old dirty tricks in an effort to reduce staff. For example, requiring that new workers relocate to Charlotte, and everyone return to the office is a form of 'soft layoff'.
Saw that on the Lowe's Reddit, but no details.
As I recall "Talent Acquisition" had layoffs a couple months ago, too.
