How can the leadership continue to lay off our best employees with invaluable experience without any consequences? What's the board doing? Do they even care? The loss of talent is more than felt in the results, how come nobody is doing anything to change that or to prevent future brain drain?

It's like raising interest rates. Something they need to do now. Negative effects to hit later.
The board's job is to approve the executive compensations.
The executives in return approve the hefty stock options for the board.
Employees get nothing ... They get screwed.
