Fix 1-10 Intel will still fail

  1. no scale to be competitive manufacturing chips
  1. No big or wide customer base to fix 1
  1. . No ecosystem of IP to attract anyone to design
  1. no technology
  1. . No trust as a manufacture that can deliver. Look how they totally fu€led the Intel products canonlake and ice lake and made Intel the laughing stockss

Who’d hitch their product or company ro this loser company?

Simple: "Go Wookie, Go Brookie" .

The first step in solving a problem is admitting there's a problem. Not ignoring it or censoring indications of it.

Not sure how PG and the ELT expect this to turn out.
They cut pay, bonuses, recognitions, 401K contributions, raises and even promotions that were earned in 2022 (which is a huge FU to those who earned it) and then basically told us to work even harder to earn the same promotions/raises we earned last year and got f$*%(d out of. Pretty sure we'll hear the same nonsense next year come focal time.

They told us in our group synch meeting that, although the plan was to re-instate pay/bonuses etc. that it was still up in the air. They expected 2-3 years of pain before we'd be back to, get this, "triple digit stock prices". It sounded like a bunch of B.S designed to get people to put their noses to the grindstone, only to say "Oh, sorry, we can't afford to give raises or promotions this year either".

I've worked for Intel for more than 2 decades and I started looking for new employment immediately after our meeting....pretty sure I wasn't the only one.

remote work is a sh-t, people should go to office once a week. once a week is not too much

#5 - forcing people back is giving our group far lower efficiency. Noone wants to be in the office so they just dawdle

Everyone is taking a black and white view of remote work. Obviously it works for some and not others. Can't we have some nuance?
