What's the marketing budget for Q/Snapdragon? Looking at how much they throw around with brand deals and huge events such as Hawaii each year you'd never think there were any issues? When did they start the aggressive public facing push?

Why wait.
This is a funny post. For some old timers they remember when Qualcomm never did marketing. I believe it wasn’t until 2010(maybe 2008) when a market budget was even put in place.
Qualcomm doesn’t have an end product so management never felt marketing would do anything.
