Not a chance. We still have to buy Hulu and that will be at least $10 billion. More likely in the $15-$20 billion range. This is due to an agreement from the Fox purchase. Why anyone still thinks Iger is the savior here is a mystery to me. Everything that is ki-ling our company was started by the weatherman.

The Variety article said: "The company still has plans to eliminate more roles internationally over a period of time, according to a source close to the situation..."

Which means the total layoff will be 7000, but Disney probably won't report that, so making it look like the company only laid off 7000 staff, when in reality, the number is more than that.

Don't count on it. There's a writer's strike with no end in sight, along with possibly two more strikes looming in the horizon. The one thing D truly excels at isn't storytelling but treating employees - sorry, "cast members" - how they're utterly disposable at any second. Relying on remakes of remakes isn't going to cut it very much longer, and they know it.
