Another condescending email blast sent out in IDS today about being in the office. Are other business units getting the same push from their leadership?

I heard IDS is stressing a return to office but BD Mebane doesn't seem to be on board. We still seem to have a flex schedule of sorts. Most salary employees get 3 days weekends on a regular basis. Some employees are self-motivated and can work from home (WFH) while others take advantage of it. We routinely have issues with product support etc. because that team still uses the flex schedule and then when they do come in demand last-minute help with their jobs. BD and or local management should specify jobs that can and cannot have flex schedules because ultimately it hurts other employees. My stance is if you were hired to WFH or can without having to interact with other employees then great. If you weren't and need hands-on then get into the office and stop using the flex schedule as a reason not to do your job. BD pays a lot of money to maintain square feet of office/production space so if you WFH and aren't productive....does BD even need you? At BD Mebane there are a handful of the WFH employee who pawn their work off on others.
Yea this is weird. Can’t fire the diversity hire I guess.
Brooke Story is being moved out of IDS!
