Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Business as usual

Anyone else had enough of all this? I'm ready to resume business as usual. I just want to jump back in and turn things around.

Good for you. Enough whining. Heads down, do your job and do the best you can. All you can control is how you handle things. Believe it or not, there is leadership and a strategy. People just don’t understand or like it. So either lean in and do the best you can to build success, or bow out. The problem won’t be leadership. It will be the people that remain who are not trying and giving 100% to the future.

Going to be hard to do business as usual when the layoffs are still happening. Had people laid off yesterday at plants. Rumors/belief abounds that Tireman is likely to absorb the corporate EHS and wipe out further people. This isn’t done yet. It won’t be business as usual for some time.

I want the entire leadership of 3M wiped out and new people on board. I cant forgive them for making me hate the company I once loved working for.

Business as usual how? Have you looked at the last 5 years? Is that the business as usual you are talking about or is it from some other timeframe?
