Sometimes I find it hard to believe when people say how much more they are paid in their new companies. It seems that we are underpaid quite a bit here.

I moved from Walgreens accounting dept to CVS. I am getting paid slightly more but less bonus. So it’s essentially been a wash the last few years. I’ll probably make more this year because it seems like no bonus is likely for Walgreens. Also less PTO and the benefits aren’t as good. I know people bash Walgreens benefits but honestly they are pretty good. After the dust settles I’m going to reach out to my old colleagues and try to come back.
Substantially more.
But frankly what’s worth far more is the environment/workplace culture. Highly recommend being treated like a valued asset, or a human being at all.
WBA over the past couple of years has become straight up TOXIC. Which is fitting bcuz Britney Spears could run the company, dance, sing, play drums, and wears red much, much better.
Everyone that has left my dept is now making 30k-60k more. We are DEFINITELY underpaid!
I'm a store and I'm considering leaving the company given that I can paid more for doing the same thing elsewhere.
