Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

There Goes the 401k

That 4% match and extra 2% towards your retirement account is going bye bye effective July 1st. Apparently it didn’t save them enough money slashing your work hours, changing your work schedule several times over, all while telling you not to worry, that the orders are coming back. Yeah sure, that’s been the story now for the last 7 or 8 months.
I’ve never seen employee morale at a more all time low in all my many years with the company than now. You expect employees to give two dams about anything on the floor when you cut their pay, their benefits and they’re unsure if they’ve even still got a job from one day to the next. What a bunch of horse$!@&
HOURLY LAYOFFS ARE COMING!!!

Making the work environment as bad as possible so people voluntarily leave saves money on severance and unemployment payments. In certain countries they could outright cut severance to nothing. Although good luck in " rebuilding" the organization in any way with a reputation like that.
So read the writing on the wall and take the appropriate steps for your well being. Best of luck.

Don’t understand why the board doesn’t just eliminate the entire senior leadership team. They are lousy at their jobs. The bucks stops there. No excuses.

Pay cut has already been implemented by the no 2023 merit increase due to inflation.
Hence, no need to carry out an actual pay cut which would cause many employees to walk. If management keeps the no merit increase policy in place for the next 2-3 years, then they would have achieved their objective by stealth.

No doubt about it. Beware of anyone telling you things are good or taking up for this company or it’s leadership/management, etc…. They’re all lying straight to your face and they all still sleep good at night. All while you took a 30 percent pay cut, lost a significant benefit, and you have zero job security. They don’t give two sh!@$ about you. Stop being loyal to a company that isn’t loyal to you. They’ll give you your walking papers in a heartbeat just as quick as they cut your pay and benefits. They’re just stringing you all along as long as possible to squeeze every last ounce from you before they drop you like a bad habit.
But hey, gotta give those multimillion dollar salaries and bonuses to the fat cats at the top, riding around on private jets while you struggle to figure out how you’re gonna pay your mortgage next month after taking a significant pay cut.
