They do not need to provide a WARN notice if they pay minimum severance, which it seems they are. So dont get all excited about lawyering up. The Legal department probably thought it through first.
Any word on how they will manage RSUs that are due?
Before y'all lawyer up... calWARN requires notice UNLESS benefits are paid for two months after the layoff... which it seems like they will do, and then some. Not to defend what's going on, but it's a way to avoid leaks of the layoffs.

I am not happy at all with how they handled this layoff. For the ones I know that were affected, they were terminated immediately. How could they just do this out of the blue and not let people plan around the potential of a layoff??
