Any skills gained are usually Intel specific and hard to apply elsewhere limiting mobility.
Aging workforce entrenched while younger generations hop in and right back out. Only the d-mb ones remain.

I think it's more about just mocking the remaining abusive id1ots at Intel for the fun of it.
It's sad. There "are" good people stuck there, but overwhelmingly the culture is horrible that it outweighs.
However, ,ost Intel engineers have literally no defense on why they would stay.
With remote work, being geographically constrained is less of an issue.
They stay even with benefits cut.
They stay even with the abuse.
They stay even with the absolute d3mbest work to do.
They stay even when their RSUs are all underwater with no hope in the near future to recover.
Why does one even work at such a company?
