Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Friendly reminder

For today’s company AH meeting. Can someone remind that one employee in ONEit to not stand up to speak on women not needing a title.

On behalf of Qualcomm women- Please don't speak on behalf of women and suggest that we don't need job titles in a corporate office. Each individual's job title is important for recognition, compensation, and career advancement.

Women in leadership roles can help organizations forge a deeper connection with their customers, inspire other women employees and boost employee engagement.

Thx.

I was watching a series on Mohammed Ali, on PBS.

And an article on Jada Pinckett Smith regarding her remarks in a ceremony that she clearly should have won the award. But did not.

And what I got from both of these instances is that by even asking for recognition, we are immediately giving power to somebody else.

The same for mathemations being awarded, I don't have the specific reference now, but several have declined awards. Because it gives credibility to that institution that they actual decide. When infact the world decides. The mathematicians decide. Not the small room of self selected that have bestowed or ordained upon themselves this sense that only if this group recognizes your contribution does it mean something.

On the contrary, the whole of woman, races and culture move the world forward despite these elite small groups and their negativr overall contributions that attempt to overshadow the bigger picture of progress and humanity that is happening in the world. Because of woman. Because of ...

You name it.
