Why did Chevron buy Noble and PDC and not us?

Isn’t it time that we are taken seriously??

Company split in 2011. 10 yr stock appreciation of MPC = over 200%. MRO = negative over 30%. You do the math, does not take a PhD in applied mathematics.

I don’t understand the rant below. Getting bought out would be the best thing that happens to us at this point. This company is stuck and going nowhere fast.

Chevron bought them instead of MRO cuz of employees like you… who looks to be bought out.. How about doing your job.. and just maybe the company may become valuable in somebody’s eyes. But alas… Mro’s downfall is that throughout the organization, both rank and file and management is full of employees like you.

Buyouts don't happen when you expect them nor when you want them. I waited for years for Lee to sell the tu-d and finally resigned.

A package deal with with Andarko in the Oxy deal would have been a pipe dream. One can dream I suppose. Bet those rich packages made by Oxy were 16+ months for most folks.

In the meantime we can salivate over chevron gas reserves in EG while alba drops like a rock. More S&P, less E&P! Let’s go! We can do this!
