Intel quite simply cannot compete with the massive combined scale of Nvidia, AMD, Apple, and TSMC. Intel's sinking volume is way too low to support the next round of R&D funding to be competitive. It's all about scale in semiconductors.
Intel missed the mobility market and now they have missed the GPU and AI market …. another mega scrooo up
Intel's Q2 2023 Outlook indicated Revenue of $11.5-12.5B, down 22% YoY
Compare that with NVDA's Q2 2024 revenue outlook of $11.0B.
So yeah, It's no gonna take 3 years for NVDA to pass INTC.

Nvidia is on-track to exceed Intel next year, maybe even this year if they continue to beat and raise the next quarters. They forecasted $11bn for Q2.
