Sometime in Q1 , 2024, when the remainco has to cut it's dividend and the market cap is reduced, after the spinco is formalized ( it's all basic financial math really at that point).
It will be very hard to justify inclusion in the Dow index....me thinks
My wild guess - sometime next year shortly after SpinCo happens. That will give a 'good enough' reason for 3M to be dropped from the DJIA.

Probably next year when Vale (oh wait, he got caught trick or treatin' in the wrong neighborhood! Gasp!) or his replacement takes over from Roaming Rambling Roman and starts to split up remain-co. That's how dupont got dumped from the dow and GE too.
If you have swallowed your medicine and sold off all of your losing GESPP you will really regret it later.
