Altera Pitiful State of Affairs

Per Beckers -
Epic continued to pull away from the competition in 2022, adding dozens of hospitals and thousands of hospital beds to its EHR market share, a May 23 KLAS Research report found.

The second-place acute care EHR vendor, Oracle Cerner, saw a net gain in hospitals last year but a loss in beds as it added mostly small standalone facilities to its portfolio.

Here are the EHR vendors by hospital market share for 2022, according to the report:

Epic: 35.9 percent

Oracle Cerner: 24.9 percent

Meditech: 16.3 percent

CPSI: 8.2 percent

Other: 7.9 percent

Altera Digital Health: 3.7 percent

Medhost: 2.5 percent

Azalea Health: 0.4 percent

Percentage of beds:

Epic: 47.6 percent

Oracle Cerner: 25.8 percent

Meditech: 14 percent

Other: 4.2 percent

Altera Digital Health: 4.1 percent

CPSI: 2.5 percent

Medhost: 1.2 percent

Azalea Health: 0.1 percent

You got that right! Management is destroying the company, from the top down.

This is comical - in terms of market share, they are only ahead of Medhost which is a Model T and Azalea which is an Ambulatory EMR.

In terms of beds, once Northwell is taken out of the equation, they will fall below CPSI whose customer base is all Critical Access Hospitals running in the middle of corn fields or other locations you would never want to be in.......

This is called LIFE SUPPORT !!!!

Anyone who still works for Altera cannot enjoy this.....
