Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

We're still not done

I think there'll be more cuts in the coming weeks/months. Things have started to go downhill and I don't see that things will be getting better any time soon. I expect that layoffs will be the norm, sadly. I'm considering finding a way out, while there are still jobs available.

On that WARN ACT the count is 431 and Chuck Greener’s name is the contact person. I think Chuck is a big political guy at corporate. No one in government lost their jobs. Just like Washington DC - fake politicians rules.

If you look at WARN ACT listing on IL state website they are required to report more layoffs which they did. Seems like more layoffs coming than what has been reported so far.

No, but it's pretty clear from the way things have been playing out. At least I think so.

OP, has something been said to you to make you believe there will be more?
