It looks like there is a wave of Fitbit people trying to move to pixel devices in MV and SD. They did not announce any new launch during Google IO, and the morale is very low at this moment. I believe the team already knows June will be another cr-p month, and they will be laid off, and that's why they are trying to move desperately.

@1ofi+1mM5OxGg I disagree with that. Those people are trying to move even before Jan 20th. The chaos was predictable.
do you think this division will survive ? Amazon gave up the Halo product line. I do not think this Fitbit running on Wearos was a great idea. I believe they will liquidate this division. Really bad idea moving to WearOS and destroying the experience Fitbit had with regular and tiny Fitbit OS. This division will vanish.

As previously noted, many Fitbiters were impacted by the January layoffs -- but they are being kept on until June or July (or in some cases December) to hand off work.
This "wave of people" have been trying to move since January 20.
